On the Shakespeare trail on Tuesday, we went to see Shakespeare's birthplace, where we were entertained by some snapshot performances of his works, which was fun. Then we realised that we had inadvertently dressed in matching outfits like a girl band. We refrained from singing and carried on our tour of the Shakespeare sites.
One of them is Hall's Croft, home to his elder daughter Susanna, who was married to a physician, hence the lovely bottles of blood, phlegm and black bile!
It was a beautiful, summery day. We saw and learned a lot about Shakespeare and then in the evening were joined by Peter, who took Wednesday off to be a tourist with us.
