When it comes to your fifth birthday it's handy having a mum who's a dab hand at making pretty cupcakes. This was my niece Ella's birthday cake yesterday, with a special cake for her on the very top. We tootled over to Ann & Jon's for her tea party. Charlie and Max (I actually know who's who in this photo) were very eager to get their hands on a cupcake. These boys are sooooooooo scrummy and I can't believe they are going to be living 3,000 miles away in 3 weeks time :(
After tea all the cousins, even giant Tom, got to have a bash at the penana, which Ella found very exciting as you can see.
Well, not ALL the cousins had a go.
Harry and Pierre are too little.
