Perth today and Scone Palace (pronounced "Scoon"). We were delayed getting there as Anni has had an allergic reaction to something and so we had to take a detour via the pharmacy for something to soothe her burning face. It had rained in the night but once again we had sunny skies and warm sunshine for our day trip.
It was a very interesting place to visit and we even found our way to the middle of the star maze (which involved a bit of cheating, I must confess, but we could still have been there now otherwise).
Then we did a bit of the sculpture trail.
In other news, I have had an update from Tom in Borneo...he says;
Momma Bear! All is well - had a slight case of altitude sickness up the Mountain, but no major traumas thus far :) Borneo is nothing short of amazing, mine and Steve's homestay is treating us to a meal of Monitor Lizard and Snails at some point, very excited! Been offered a machete, very tempted to purchase it... and no, we haven't been mauled by wild beasts, although we did get up close to wild Orangutans and Crocodiles. Missing you all, not long until I come home, which is very odd :S hope all is good back at the ranch xxxxx

Wow, it all looks fabulous. Glad you are having such a great time and loving reading about it all. Good to hear that Tom has avoided the stomach bug that I heard at least a few of them had. Hope the good weather continues and that you stay in some fab B & B`s with at least a little vintage crockery, even if it isn`t quite glamping x

Hey Lol, someone at work was talking to one of the dad`s of someone who is away with Tom and he had been pretty sick, but nothing too sinister :) Hopefully Tom will avoid it altogether with his strong constitution x
