After a visit to the laundry room, we left St Andrews today and drove onward and upward to Angus, where I had a minor panic trying to get out of Dundee since the exit to the main road to Aberdeen was closed. My satnav actually triumphed and got me on the right road, despite randomly deciding that the A90 was a field every now and then, it even got me to the one horse town of Kirriemuir, where we wanted to visit J M Barrie's birthplace. Here is Anni, at J M Barrie's desk, brought here from his London apartment.
Appropriately dressed in her Peter Pan dress, she had a go at seeing if Peter Pan could transport her to Neverland.
It was just a teeny cottage with a teeny garden but interesting nonetheless.
We have checked into a lovely b&b in Maryculter and eaten out in Aberdeen and are meeting up with old friends tomorrow. No more long drives until Thursday.

Glad you are both having a great time and the weather looks really good for Scotland.Hope Skye is not a disappointment after all this.
Sure it won't be a disappointment Maggie. We are so excited about Skye and everyone raves about it. Can't believe the weather, it is as if the sun is following us round x
