Cousins

Today we had a visit from some cousins: Grant, my cousin from Canada, and Hannah my second cousin from Eccles. Grant's mum is my Dad's youngest sister and Hannah's grandmother was another of my Dad's sisters. I see a lot of my Dad and my Uncle Jimmy in Grant. 

It has been lovely to get to know him as I didn't see him when I was growing up. Hannah I have only met twice before, both times at family funerals, so it has been great to meet her in happier circumstances. Amazingly, she shares my passion for purple. Even more amazingly, she can whoop Peter at FIFA 11!!! Well done Hannah! And she is the same size as Anni.

It was good to be able to have lunch and spend an afternoon with Grant before he flies back to Canada tomorrow.
