A taste of Morocco

Last night I had the extreme good fortune of being at Ione's Birthday Moroccan evening. I have to say that not only did the dining room look the part, but the food was absolutely out of this world amazing. Enormous respect to Ione's hubby Dave, who spent most of the day in the kitchen preparing this feast!

We had a very smart and handsome waiter in Isaac, who gave us service with a smile.

And there was glitter galore on the pavlova. I do so love all things glittery. In fact if I had my own way, the outside of our house would be painted in lilac glitter paint. We had a truly lovely girlie evening and I have pinched this photo below from Ione's blog because it shows how much I enjoyed myself.

Haha! I read it as "at" not "ate". Funny, funny. Just finished the book this morning. Couldn't put it down.
