House of Senses

Our second trip was to the "Haus der Sinne" (house of senses), a museum of sensory experiences. It is a really pretty, old building with oodles of character. Inside we looked at optical illusions, smelled and tasted and experienced blindess in a pitch black room with obstacles. (I got claustrophobic in there and had to be led back out by the guide, it was horrible.) The heat that day was blistering. We stopped for lunch in the restaurant on the terrace, where everything was organic.

On our return, Sean was reuinted with the Elizabeth, lady who used to run the exchange, one of the few people just as loud as he is! In this picture, Elizabeth is sporting the original, hideous cat bag.
