This is my cutesy little niece Erin, who came to spend the day with us today. She's such a happy bunny and very pleased with her new found skills of crawling and standing up. So we had a girlie fun day, just Dee (my sis-in-law), Erin and and I. Tom is still out walking hills and won't be back until later this evening. A three day expedititon! I fully expect he shall sleep most of tomorrow and since Peter's away and Anni has just gone for a talkover at the Perrys with Chloe and Freya, that makes for one peaceful morning for me. Bliss!
It's also been a day for getting things done. My trusty repair man came and resurrected my tumble dryer. Funny how you can live without something for 40 years and then the moment it goes, you're at a loss! Also, the hall and stair carpet was fitted today.
I now feel for the first time since August that I'm living in a house and not on a building site.
We can now party in the hallway! Woo hoo! Our niece Ella can have her pick of naughty corners here now!
