When my children were younger, people used to laugh at me for bathing them every night and then when they were old enough, making them bath themselves every night. People used to say I must have the cleanest children in Cheshire. Perhaps it is a reaction against that then that my eldest has just returned from Germany looking (and smelling) unkempt. "Did you have many showers?" I ventured to ask.
"No actually, they didn't have a shower."
"Well baths then?"
"No,"
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? Why not?"
"Well I tried the hot tap and no hot water came out..."
"Did you not think to ask for help?"
"Erm no," he said, "But I did wash. With a flannel."
Home. First stop the shower! Ugh!
How can someone go a whole 6 days without a bath or a shower?
This is the boy who returned from his first Camp with his soap untouched and the flannel still in the cardboard roll it came in. How did this happen to me?

Washing never did me any good...
I`m with you Lol. My older 2 are just as bad given the chance. washing is one of the most blissful activities known to woman (and man)as my nightly hour wallowing in the bath will testify.
Don't you have to wash to know whether it does any good or not??
