Frights

I wasn't shaken awake on Tuesday night. Nope, just woken by Peter sitting bolt upright and shouting "aaaaaaaaaaargh!" very loudly as if something had frightened him to death. The next day he explained that he thought he'd seen a skeleton in the middle of the room, like the one in a trailer for a Nicholas Cage film. Apparently it was also in amongst the "wedding drapes" the previous night. Sweet! Just what I wanted to hear knowing I was going to be alone the next night.
More frights today. Although my night was undisturbed, I crashed my car on the way home. It was only very minor but the driver of the other car turned out to be a very young hysterical screaming banshee and I'm gutted 'cos it was my first ever crash. I had to ring Peter and ask what I was supposed to do and say and not do etc. (He, being something of a crash veteran.)
Then I had to compose myself and get off to Anni's Spring concert. It was really really good, if not unnecessarily long (7.30 until 10pm!) Will have to think on my feet tomorrow...
Loving all these comments by the way x

hope the car (and you) did ok. I think Peter should really cut down on the amount of cheese he eats before bed. Funny stories about his dreams - I'm surprised he remembers them though - I can never remember mine apart from knowing that I had a good one.

Glad you were ok, and even though our husbands might have had similar taste in cardigans, i`m glad to say mine is quiet at night.

it`s nice to have comments isn`t it? Makes you feel like you`re not alone in cyberspace - hint hint to anyone who reads mine.
