Mellishous moments

As Peter's brother Stephen, his wife Dee and their little pumpkin, Erin had spent Christmas and then some time in South Africa, we decided that it would be good to have a family get-together now that they are back. Because there were so many children (12 in all if you count Tom and Anni) I thought a spot of fresh air was on the menu and we went to Queen's Park. Nobody told us it was all pretty much one giant hole at the moment whilst being renovated! Ah well the children had some fun on the playground and at least we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves! I made a fairy cake for each child.

And we had a nice walk around what we could of the park. It's funny to think that when I first met Peter's sisters, Alison (far right) was just 4 and now she's a mum of 4.

Tom enjoyed climbing up a tree, much to the horror of his more cautious little cousins who were worriedly shouting, "No Tom! Come down!"

I've had a most lovely day.
