Define Sod's Law? How about you're a teacher and the O people come the day before you go on maternity leave? That's what is happening to my poor CL, Laura (centre with the bouquet) tomorrow. So we had a very brief mini gathering at lunch today. These are the people I work closely with. Poor heroic Sean in the middle (lovingly known as Cheggers because of the resemblance) has worked as the lone male in a department full of women for several years now. He is SO henpecked. Peter took one look at this and said "You all look like teachers!" I though oh dear yes we do ~ all those comfortable cardigans and pale, drained faces. I look as if I haven't slept for weeks. I am so stressed about the O people that my desk reflects my state of mind.
Some good news ~ I have lost half a stone in 2 weeks, yay me!
