Peter noticed the snow in the very early hours of this morning when he was having difficulty sleeping because of his back pain. I am such a light sleeper that someone only has to move and I wake up. So there we both were, looking out of the window watching snowflakes swirling in the lamplight and wondering if they would stick. We awoke to a thin, but substantial blanket of snow, the perfect weather for a duvet day but alas it was a school day. Not so bad for me as I had a training day but Tom and Annabel were projected directly into the seat of learning. (How do teenagers manage not to feel the need for coats, jumpers, hats and scarves in this weather? It made me shiver just looking at Tom.)
We had an earlier finish than usual and as I drove home, I was pleased to see some remnants of snow still clinging to the village. The Pool around the corner was all frozen and beautiful.

Great pics, and I`m envious you actually saw it snowing. That`s my favourite bit!
