We walked the circumference of this beautiful lake. It was bracing, breathtaking and body friendly. After my 5 mile walk I have no aches and pains to report (as yet). I even managed to walk most of the way up at the front with these good people. (NB. that's Jon Mackenzie, not Jean Paul Sartre, contrary to appearances.)
I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do actually love walking, but Peter doesn't (largely because it hurts his back) and neither do Tom and Anni (largely because they are lazy). I am definitely going to do more of it next year. It's especially good fun in good company.
Thanks to Ross for organizing it, yet again.
But where were the rest of you?

Trying to live for another year. Ross`s walks have been known to shave years off your life :) I`m glad this one was very enjoyable. Hope you have a great new year. Looking forward to reading more of your blogs!
I remember those walks - good fun.
If you want to walk more, then get a gps and take up geocaching - it will get you waling all over the place. There's at least one by the lake there. I've walked around Rudyard at least once on a caching spres.
Sounds interesting Andy. What's geocaching?
