Looking back

I was trying to remember the last time we went to Alice Holt and did the cycling thing with Dave and Davina and found the evidence in one of many many photo albums. It was back in 2000. This is how Sarah-Beth and Annabel travelled round the circuit 8 years ago, in princessly luxury.

Dave and Peter had a wee bit more hair back then and Tom was on one of those half cycle attachments that Nathan had this time around.

Just compare these four having their lunch to the picture of them on the swing seat. Aw! How time flies! It's so cool that they have known one another all their lives and still get on and have fun together. In those days, they used to fall asleep on the journey down and we could transport them, still sleeping, to their beds. These days the girls are often awake way after we've conked out. On Saturday they were still playing pink girlie monopoly at 2am. Oh for the energy of youth!
