You may or may not know that I am the tormented younger sibling of two much older brothers. I think on this photo I was 7, Paul (far right) was 14 and Rob was 17. I am still traumatised by being threatened throughout my childhood with the "Hobbledy Hoys" taking me away in a yellow van if I didn't do as they told me to ~ all they had to do was dial 888. They are still cruel to me. Only this weekend my elder brother Rob suggested that I could have a tattoo on my bottom, a relief map of the moon ~ lifesize! Anyhoo, this weekend was my brother Paul's 50th birthday, so we tootled off down to Brighton for his birthday party. here we are the three of us.
Paul and Ann have a lovely sea view from their house. I'd never been there before.
The sun was shining in Saltdean and Kath (Rob's wife) and I enjoyed sitting in the garden in our summer dresses.
Paul is something of a Peter Pan (I seem to be surrounded by them in my life!), so he was delighted when someone bought him a bubble blower for his birthday.
So happy half century Ar Kid!
