I omitted to mention yesterday, that CRM shares a birthday with my sister-in-law, Helen. Helen (far right above) and I go back a long way. I met her when we were 17 and Peter was just her annoying younger brother. The above photo was taken in 1983 when we went to the Kilravock Bible Readings for the week. My fetching blue suit was modelled on the one Princess Diana wore for her engagement. We used to have so much fun. We had many a sleepover in Helen's spare room, as evidenced below. Don't you just love old photos? Anyway, happy birthday for yesterday, Nell.
We've had another lovely, sunny day today and so we ended up with the water fight gang in our garden again, an even bigger gang than last time (not all of them are in the photograph.) And I already had the 3 packs of water bombs in ready for such an event, how organized was that?
We also had a few more people chilling in the house, including this crazy pair!
I love summer afternoons when people pop in and fill the house and garden :)
