I'm loving the fact that this year has brought so many opportunities to catch up with friends we haven't seen for a long time. Not so long ago we had a visit from our friend Fiona, who used to go to the same church as me in Manchester and now lives in Sydney, Australia. Yesterday we had a visit from her fellow Sydney dwellers, Tim and Joanne and their lovely daughters, Tori and Alison. I've known Tim since I was 16 and in fact his late father married Peter and me. We last saw him when I was expecting Tom, so a good 17 years ago. I'd never met Joanne before, but she's a fellow card maker and craft addict so I knew I would like her. Anni was an instant hit with the girls. She's such a sweetie, entertaining all the little people who come to visit.
