A very eventful Sunday

It was a really happy day for us at WHBC today as six of our friends were baptised. One being Tom's good friend, John, along with Jessamy, one of my Friday night Bible study group girls.

And the lovely Chloe.

I couldn't be part of the music group today because Peter had been told that he may be coming home today and I was on standby to pick him up from the hospital.

Sure enough the call came during the first hymn and so I didn't get to see any of the baptisms. But Danny kindly took lots of photos with my camera for me. Whilst I was gutted to have missed them, I'm delighted to have my Peter home, even if the drive home did feel very reminiscent of my driving test. When I went to collect him, his surgeon was in his room, chatting to him. I really rate this guy, he is the epitome of patient care. Peter's very sore and very sleepy but he's home and on the road to recovery and glad to have said goodbye to hospital food. Can't believe it's finally been done.Posted by Picasa
