Here's my poor sweetheart, recovering in hospital with a cup of tea. They have told him that if they can stabilise his pain, (which he rated at 8/10, 10 being the worst, this afternoon) he can actually come home tomorrow. It's not the old pain though, it's pain from the surgery and is better when he stands up. It seems a bit soon to be coming home, but judging by the hospital dinner they brought him as we were leaving, I think he'll be glad to get out of there.

I'm sorry to hear the food is so bad - Christies was pretty good from what I remember.
I do know that I got hooked on toast and marmalade for breakfast after my visit as that is what they fed us. I also started drinking a lot of tea after my visit too.
Cup'tea will do you a world of good!
