Our little baby girl is 14 today and I just can't believe it. It really doesn't seem that long ago since she arrived ( just a few months later and she wouldn't have been possible, but God knew that and gave her to us just in the nick of time, for which we are forever thankful.) When the midwife deposited us from the delivery room to the ward, she announced, "This is Annabel; she has a very loud voice." How prophetic that turned out to be! She never ate much, she never slept much at all but could she make some noise! (Nothing much changes.)
Here she is on her very first birthday with her Grandad Bob, who always made a giant fuss of her. For her third birthday she got a bike and what she called her "twinkle pinkle dress".
For her fifth birthday we had an outfit change mid party, from a Jessie (from Toy Story) outfit for her pottery painting party to her Sleeping Beauty dress for the cake at home. Tom's face is hilarious in this photograph.
And on the subject of nothing much changing.......
Her birthday party is on Friday, but we had a mini celebration tea tonight, just Anni, Tom, Mum and I, with a very mini cake.
We just squeezed it in before she had to dash off for her second performance, dancing in the school musical, Back to the 80's. Funny, as I type this, my ipod is on shuffle and is playing this
