The best Sunday afternoons are the ones spent with friends. Today was one of those afternoons as we finally managed to coordindate diairies with the Gilmores (formerly of Sicily, now of Sandbach.) I really should have taken photographs during the main course as my camera is playing up and Jamie's chocolate fudge cake served with Gary's chocolate sauce was too good to look up from for too long. (I can say that because Peter made it all, not me.) Whilst Kristin managed to look up for a photo, Alex and Tom didn't even entertain the idea.
Rossanna also managed a pause from the chocolate cake. We had a lovely afternoon with them, followed by a really uplifting evening at church. Amazing how God knows and caters for our needs before they occur. But then we have an amazing God.
