The Emerald Isle: Day 10: A life on the ocean waves

We got up to a lovely day again today, in the southernmost destination of our trip. Diana delivered breakfast in a pretty panier and once again we ate whilst looking out to sea. We were excited to find boiled eggs in our breakfast basket, in special insulated egg holders.
We had been invited to join Diana and her family and some friends on a trip on their friend's boat this morning. How so very kind! So from the boat, we could see the yurt (just peeking out from behind the trees) and the dining hut.
Diana had two children of a similar age to Anni and Tom, but the other way around. They were also lovely. We discovered that Diana was half German too.
The main aim of the trip was to go and have a look at a tallship that had crashed on the headlands recently. (Nobody was hurt but it was sad to see such a lovely vessel ruined). It looked like a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean; I almost expected to see Jack Sparrow.
We got very close to it.
This family certainly were the hosts with the most.
We also sailed around the Sovereign Isles. It was really lovely.
Finally it was back to the yacht club for a coffee, before returning to pack up at the yurt. It was a shame we only had one night there.
We fortified ourselves with a yummy tea at the Perryville Tea Rooms before hitting the road for the three and a half hour drive to our final stop, Dublin's fair city.
