As is our family tradition, we went to buy our Christmas tree from the local farm shop on this, the first Saturday in December. After having had lunch in the café, watching Abi M, Chloe H and Freya H hard at work (and very noticably the most cheerful staff there!) we went to look at the trees. Whom should we bump into doing the very same thing but the Ainscoughs! Tom and John picked up Abi A and threatened to put her through the tree netting machine.
They were having some debate about which tree to buy. We managed to eat our lunch and choose a tree in less time than they took to choose one! Possibly down to the fact that it was Abi's year to choose. Peter and Anni dressed the beast, once we had erased from Peter's male mind the crazy notion of not putting the pink baubles on this year! Eh neh! Whilst I made Jamie's chicken korma, which I made far too spicy for Anni's liking. (Note to self, dried chillies are much hotter than fresh ones.)
And here stands this year's tree in all its pink and silverness. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Looks lovely! Can`t decide whether to bother with a tree ourselves this year as we are away quite a bit, but yours looks fabulous!
