I LOVE my husband! Very occasionally at work, flowers are delivered to the office and everyone wonders who they are for, secretly hoping it's their turn. Well today it was my turn! At lunchtime, one of our lovely office ladies walked in with the beautiful bouquet above and it was all mine from my lovely husband of 19 years! More lovely autumnal colours! One of my friends, whose boyfriend also works with us, rang his office and told him that she needed to speak to him urgently. When he came down to the staff room, wondering what was wrong, she pointed at my flowers. The message was something along the lines of look and learn.
It has to be said, by his own admission, this is only my second surprise in 19 years. The last was when he told me we were going out for dinner on my birthday and also took me to see Phantom of the Opera. Tom was a baby then and Annabel wasn't even thought of.
