Tomorrow marks our 19th wedding anniversary. I can't believe 19 years have passed since I donned my sequin encrusted, pearl dripping meringue and married Peter! But in spite of the sequins, I'm glad I did. He's still away and won't be back until tomorrow evening. On mention of this, Annabel disappeared into the craft room to make us an anniversary card, which she rather wanted me to open tonight. So I did ~ this was what she made and I love it. I love the composition and the fact that it was all her own idea. I may just have to rope her in on the Christmas cards.
Today is also a special day. My youngest sister-in-law, Ally (a.k.a. Supermum) gave birth to her 4th baby boy this afternoon. His name is Harry and we can't wait to meet him. He is my 8th nephew and my 21st nephew/niece (there really ought to be a collective word for them since we have the word sibling for brothers and sisters collectively.) Little Harry shares his birthday with the lovely Miss Mackenzie, whose card I can now picture, since she's seen it.
Better go and buy some blue papers and ribbon tomorrow to make Harry's card...
