I'm loving it that my sister-in-law, Ann and her husband, Jon, are living up north now. Today they were able to come over for the day. While Peter and Jon vegged out in front of the PS3, playing Fifa 09 (Yawn!) Ann and I took our girls to Trentham Gardens. Jon hates shopping and Peter doesn't get Trentham, he feels he's been there once and doesn't need to go again. Whereas we love to mooch around the shops and totally get the need for coffee breaks with ginormous slabs of cake or scones with jam and cream!
Hannah and Ella don't quite get the shopping part yet (their time will come) but they did enjoy the coffee break, or in their case, the lollipop break.
Then it was lovely to come back and cook and bake and chill with dinner and the X-Factor. Love love love weekends...........
