Things I made today

Peter was going away today and when he returns it will be our 19th wedding anniversary. I thought I'd give him a nice send 0ff, so I was up at 8 o'clock this morning making a hotpot (of which I have no photographs, but it was very nice.) Then for dessert I made one of his favourites, bread and butter pudding, of the Gary Rhodes variety, which involves an obscene amount of cream and sugar and 8 egg yolks.
In fact I spent much of the day making things and it has been most pleasant. This morning I made music...

Then this afternoon I made some cards, which I can't show here because the people they are for haven't got them yet, so here's a picture of some I made in the summer hols.

In an ideal world, I would just make things all day every day. Alas instead I must go and make children learn languages many of them think they don't need to know. C'est la vie!
