Lonesome and busy

Most weeks Peter has to do a day down south and stays a night in the company flat. Last weekend we parked our car there and I got to see where he is when he's away from me. There's something quite comforting about being able to visualise where he is (in the white building in the middle.)
Meanwhile I'm having a crazy week. Last night I was at an information evening at school and got home at 9.30pm. Today I had no frees and I've got 7 trainees in, from 3 different institutions all with different start dates. I've ferried Tom to a primary school reunion and cleaned the downstairs of the house ready for a YP camp planning meeting. All the machines are whirring away and I'm zonked.
Funny moments though. Today a child asked me, "Is God English?" (a 14 year old at that!)
I explained that God doesn't have a nationality because he doesn't belong to any one country, but that Jesus was born in Israel.
"Israel!" gasped another child, "But don't they start all the wars?"
Anni says I should have said, "No, George Bush does."
