This has been one of those weekends you never want to come to an end. Not only has it lasted three days, we have spent it with our lovely friends, Dave and Davina and their kids. We've known them for almost 20 years and Dave was an usher at our wedding. They arrived later than they had anticipated on Friday evening and having sat down to dinner at 11pm, we ending up chatting until 4am. On Saturday, the men had a couple of important football matches to watch and so we girls took ourselves off to Trentham for a few hours.
A lot of growing had taken place since our last visit. Amazing what food and water will do!
We went out for a local walk, during which we recreated the cover pose of my much maligned Faraway Folk album. My music collection never ceases to amaze and amuse. I also have a collection of photos of Dave and Davina hugging trees, so I thought I'd add to it.
