Even though it's only 20 minutes away and I've lived in this area for 16 years, I had never visited Little Moreton Hall before. So today I decided to take Mum, Anni, Tom and Ellie there for a picnic and a short visit. It reminds me of the nursery rhyme about the crooked man who lived in a little crooked house.
I rather liked the gardens and the inscription on this window:
Everyone was very patient with my national trust visitation and profilic photography, both things that my children find very annoying about me, although I'm sure they'll thank me for the latter in later years.

Ooh I`ve always fancied going there, but maybe not with the twins. And I`m with you on the National Trust being a great way to spend free time x
Phil and I went when I was heavily pregnant and loved it. Although the long room at the top of the house is a little scary. Sadly it rained when we were there :(
Great place...my kids said I should have become a volunteer tour guide when I finished homeschooling!!
