Who needs to go abroad when it's so beautiful at home? I've been so thankful for the amazing weather we've had this week. I've had to shelve all my plans for clearing out cupboards and bedrooms and even scrapbooking because the sunshine has beckoned. On Friday afternoon Tom, Anni and I went over to my sister-in-law Helen's to have a big family lunch and chillax in the garden. The younger children had great fun on the water slide.
Anni and I loved capturing their gleeful faces on camera, in fact she took these two above. I also enjoyed sitting chatting with my s-i-ls Dee, Helen, Ann and Gill (and Ally while she was there).
I love days like this, when you don't know what time it is, nor does it matter. Work seems very far away. :)
