Well, we went to see the specialist at the hospital today. Very impressive I have to say. We had almost no waiting time and the specialist gave us almost an hour of his time. He was very lovely and very thorough. He came to the conclusion that he didn't think Peter's blackout was a TIA, but rather a syncope, probably brought on by pain or stress. Nonetheless he's running a few more tests and will be checking up on him in 4-6 months. He brought in his senior colleague to confirm his decision too.
So that's a big relief and we are very thankful for that. I'm glad I was there because I know I would have a very shortened version of events. (I have a deep need for details.)
This is also good because we know he's perfectly fit and well for his back surgery.
