Back from down south

We're just back from a reet luvverly time down in the usually sunny south. Here's our hostess with the mostest showing off her talents in the art of potting plants and displaying them to their best advantage ~ in symmetry at that! Ann is a woman of many talents ~ she even managed to persuade fruitphobic Tom to eat raspberries!!!! (by surrounding them with an irresistible combination of white chocolate, waffles and creme fraiche.)
This time it rained from beginning to end but it really didn't matter. In fact the rain meant that the Bank Holiday Monday air show wasn't mobbed and we had a great view and no queues
for our hot dogs. The downside was that Peter and Tom walked round with their hoods up, looking like a couple of yobs with ASBOs.
We loved the red arrows and even though by the time we got home we couldn't feel our fingers our toes with the cold. we had a great time. I even managed two long lie-ins, which I can never manage at home. I can always think of something that needs to be done.
Then I got home to the lovely surprise of a totally weed free garden path thanks to our gardner Tom.
