Oh how we're loving this sunny weather! This afternoon, Tom and his friends Tom and Alex were preparing for their D of E expedition later this week, after which more friends arrived and they decided they needed a water fight. I loved sitting back and watching them have such enormous fun. It was good for John, Abi and Jess, who are in the middle of their GCSE revision stress time.
Once again I was very grown up and fought the urge to join in. The cold water looked very inviting in the heat.
Then they all became very civilised and sat down to tea in the garden.
