Hadleigh Castle

Peter found that the world of commerce was collapsing without him, so he stayed in to do some troubleshooting on Tuesday. After a washout day for the airshow, we had a bit of sunshine the next day for a trip to Hadleigh Castle, which was very picturesque. Before I knew it, Tom was almost at the top of the ruins and Ella was trying to climb up to him.
Hannah was a little less adventurous in her clambering.
I have to say I am impressed that Tom, at 6ft 2 and nearly 15, is still happy to humour his old Mum and not so old Aunty by spending a day with us and not even complaining. I wonder how long this will last? I'm making the most of it while it does.

I think Aunty Ann may well soon be the smallest of these three!

It was only as we were leaving that we saw this sign. Ooops!
