Candlelit carols and Christmassy cupcakes

For one reason after another, my sil and bil, Ann and Jon were thwarted in their attempts to join us on Saturday evening and there were tears from their girls because of that, so to make up for it, they joined us for Sunday lunch. I opened the door to my niece informing me, "We were very upset yesterday." This also meant that our guests missed out on Ann's awesome cupcakes, which we got to sample on Sunday.

We had a lovely afternoon, rounded off by watching Elf with the kids, before they left for home and we went to our candlelit carol service, led by Ben Griffin, who is with us for far too short a time.
