We didn't get a holiday last year. We really, really need a holiday. As ever, we decided very last minute, that Peter would take this week off and we would get away. Having spent hours trawling last minute deals websites, we found the perfect break in Marbella. Anni has been on a school exchange and knows a few places to visit. We found a good hotel with all very positive reviews. In my minds eye I was hopping on a plane this evening and jetting off for some Spanish sunshine.
I woke up at 7am suddenly in a panic about finding all our passports. I found our three, Peter always keeps his with him. We were a phone call away from booking when Peter suddenly realised that his passport had expired in March. Aaaaargh! Gutted. Just glad it wasn't mine or I wouldn't have been popular.
I've already applied for a renewal for him and we're definitely booking a summer holiday before the end of this week!
