Confusion

Anni is off to Spain next week, on a school exchange. Last evening I discovered that the itinerary includes a day trip to Gilbraltar. This will be of particular interest because my parents and my brother lived there for a short time when Dad was in the royal navy. I rang Mum to tell her. Our conversation went like this:

"You know Anni's going to Spain next week. Well guess where she's going to visit...Gibraltar."

Gilbraltar? OOh how lovely. Oh it's lovely.

"I thought you'd be pleased."

You can get to Spain from there you know.
