I haven't managed a lie-in since Monday. Earlier in the week it seemed like a good idea to book Anni's hair appointment for 9a.m. so that I could make the most of the day. Hmm! Anyway, she now has a fringe and looks very different. I like it because you can actually see her face now.
I've had a strange day, broken in pieces by my appointments as a taxi to my mother and daughter. Whilst shopping with my mother, I bought some wine for this evening and was asked for i.d.!!!! What was that all about? I couldn't decide whether to be flattered or irritated.
So I decided to catch up on some housework. And guess what? The tumbler drier has stopped heating up for me. Right after the part where I stripped all the beds and washed all the bedding. Great! Which machine plans to break down on me next I wonder?
