This is Jack, the yellow-bellied turtle. My mother describes him as "no trouble." Well really, what mischief is there that a turtle could find to do? My lovely little niece Ella, on the other hand did get up to mischief she decided to feed Jack the turtle, having been told not to. For this her mum sat her in the naughty corner for a while.
I just love these girls, they are a laugh a minute. I had made a blueberry and cream cake for dessert and poor Ella couldn't have any because of the cream. "But Mummy," she protested, "I just love bluebellies!" We are looking forward to them living nearby.
