Take 3 girls add 2 sleepovers and this is what you get ~ one extraordinarily messy room. I am posting this in the hope that it might shame my daughter into tidying it. In defence of her guests, it's pretty much this untidy quite a lot.
The booklet poking out from her shelf made me smile...."What on earth is this?" indeed! They have had a real hoot together over the past few days. Good friends are such a treasure. I was most impressed to hear that they had walked all the way to the next village to buy eggs and butter to make a chocolate cake. I was not so impressed with the cake. This is the way it was served, it hadn't met with a terrible accident. Tom pronounced it "the cake that looks like a cow pat!"
The girls dared themselves to eat it. I, unfortunately, am on a diet.
