Hooray and hurrah! The builders have been. We have scaffolding and roof trusses. We're relieved to see some progress at last. Inside, the garage as was has now been split into two rooms.
This is going to be my craft room, which I will happily share with the tumble dryer. The downside was we had a mahooosive leak from the study ceiling (nothing to do with the builders or the building work). By the time I got home, Tom, Anni and John had moved the piano, soaked up the water with towels, mopped it up with boiling water and soapy wood floor cleaner and put everything back in place without being asked. Bless them! Anni made me a cup of tea too. What lovely kids!
