Slightly out of sync ~ this should have been Saturday's blog but I went out with a malfunctioning memory card in my camera and so I had to wit for some piccies courtesy of Ste & Dee. We went up to Rawtenstall (they laugh at us for saying "Rortenstall" instead of "Rottenstall") to Ste & Dee's for a bbq with Dee's Dad, Graham from S.A. and Penny all the way from Oz and Matt and Ali all the way from across the road. We had a most pleasant evening: Peter had his customary snooze (seems to do a lot of that lately, poor thing) on a mega comfy garden chair. Anni had fun playing with the fantastic electric fly swatter, which buzzes and sparks when it catches one. Tom had fun fishing for baby newts in the garden pond.
We're still waiting for niece/nephew 20 ~ now 11 days late. Tom was hoping he/she might arrive on his birthday but he/she did not oblige.
