Cracking time in Devon!

Just had a lovely week in Devon. This was the view from our bedroom window. (Our cottage looked just the same.) Lots of peaceful and relaxed, slow-start mornings and much chilling out. The place where we stayed was just my cup of tea~ most tranquil yet not too far from civilization. We visited lots of nice places and I even got to retrace some of my childhood steps and go on a horse and trap ride round Cockington Village.

We managed two pretty good cream teas but we felt that neither topped the one we had in October in England's most southerly cafe at Lizard point. We saw some very interesting sights. Jonny couldn't quite believe his eyes at this one, spotted while Tom was crab fishing:

You can see the shock on his face!

Gentlemen, take note~ always wear a belt and if you should feel a draught, hoist up your breeches! It really isn't pleasant!

Glad you all had a good holiday. Sorry to not get chance to say goodbye to you all.

Pass on my farewell's to Pete and the rest of the family!

Hope you're well
