It's a real shock to the system to go from complete wind down last week to full on hectic this week. It is 9.50pm and I have just stopped working! Dad was taken into hospital just over a week ago and is still there, so every day I have been coming home, sorting meals etc and going to visit him. He won't be coming home this weekend either. He needs an aortic valve replacement and if they agree to do it at Wythenshawe hospital, he'll be transfered there next week. It's a risk though and that's pretty scary. Not sure I want him to have it but then he says he wants a better quality of life. Thankfully, I don't think Mum has taken it all in.
Please pray for them both.
