Adjusting

In the last two weeks, Peter turned 45! We celebrated with a fabulous familial evening out with the sils and bils in Repton. 

We had a really lovely meal and a great laugh and there were no teenagers to wait up for or taxi home. (Being home alone does have its benefits). 

So we could behave like teenagers ourselves instead.... 

On the actual day of his birthday, I had booked to see Wicked as a surprise and it was absolutely amazing. Anni and my niece Sarah had seen it on Broadway during their trip to New York and had raved about it. It did not disappoint. 

However, we do miss having our babies around and so we went to spend last Saturday in Leeds with Anni. She couldn't be happier. She has landed on her feet with a fabulous bunch of flatmates, including a half Italian guy who loves to cook for them! She loves her course and has settled into a really great church. I think we are going to love our visits to Leeds, the shops are splendiferous.
