452!

I have dragged out my birthday a little and this Saturday I had a small bbq to celebrate. I had a birthday cake but the family couldn't find a 7 in the candles, so they got creative with Maths! My niece Hannah was puzzled. Someone insisted I was 452 and she said, in the cutest of voices, "But she can't be!"  So there's a comfort, apparently I don't look 452.

We didn't get to eat outdoors on this occasion, because of the rain :( but we did had a lovely time. We got to chat with our sil Ally in Qatar on Skype and then had a perfect end to the day with a sleepover with my sil Judith and her very first viewing of one of my very fave films When Harry Met Sally.

It has all kind of taken some of the sting out of my age.
