June is a busy month for birthdays in our family. The day after Tom's 18th, was our niece Susanna's 21st. So we tootled over to Northampton for a family barbecue and some traditional Percy Pig cake.

Anni got to compare self-made bags with Lizzie (they both have the gift).
And then Tom (who was working and couldn't come along to the barbecue) decided that he did need a birthday cake after all, but since he was working between 12 and 6 on Sunday today, we had to have it after church in the evening.
It clearly made him very happy.
