A very purple wedding

The first person ever to call on us when we first came to our church was our neighbour from around the corner, Rebecca, with an invitation to a new year's eve party. That was 9 years ago. Yesterday we had the joy of seeing Rebecca all grown up and marrying Paul (dancing back down the aisle here.)  It was a lovely day from beginning to end.
I loved all the purpleness that was going on and thought everyone looked very lovely.
Although I did fear tumbling as I stood on the wall for this shot in my high heels. Thankfully I didn't and it was definitely worth the risk.
Bjorn and Liz, who transformed the town hall for my 40th had weaved their magic again and the reception room looked fabulous. I love this shot because it shows off Becki's dress. There were so many more things, sweets and bubbles on the tables and a fabulous cake made by the inimitable Izzy. And yet again, the DJ seemed to have got hold of my ipod, he even played Boney-M's Rasputin. Oh joy! What a great way to start half term.
So thanks for a wonderful day Dave and Debbie and congratulations and lots of happiness to Paul and Becki. xx
